MET Freezes Contract Rates It may never be more affordable to lock in tomorrow's tuition at today's rate with MET. Despite significant college tuition increases, including some double-digit hikes this fall, the Michigan Education Trust is holding contract costs steady for families that purchase a MET prepaid tuition contract before January 31, 2008. The MET Board has set contract prices, for newborns through ninth graders, which are basically unchanged from the average 2007 price.
New MET Enrollment Period Underway Open enrollment for MET contracts began September 1 and continues through August 31, 2008. Consider a MET prepaid tuition contract as a holiday gift. KATRINA TRUONG Wins FREE SEMESTER of College Tuition from MET Congratulations to Katrina Truong of Ann Arbor! Katrina won a free semester of college in MET's annual giveaway."This is pretty exciting," Katrina said. "At first I thought it wasn't real, because it's not often that I win something. I'm proud that out of all the people who entered, I was the one picked." She registered to win on Friday the 13th of April. Katrina is a pre-pharmacy junior at Ferris State University and plans to name her sister as the beneficiary.
