MET Contracts Encourage Higher Ed

Since its debut in 1988 as the nation's first guaranteed tuition program, well over 90 percent of high school graduates with MET contracts have gone on to attend a college or university. MET Contracts Are Flexible

MET benefits can be used at any Michigan public university or college upon the student being admitted to that institution. (MET cannot guarantee that a student will be admitted to any Michigan university or college.) Contracts are portable to Michigan private and out-of-state colleges and universities, and may be transferred to other eligible family members. Students can even delay attending college right away. Contract holders have 15 academic years from the expected high school graduation year to use all credit hours.
